YOGA

Ksenia’s yoga classes are dynamic and creative, with a focus on cultivating her students’ awareness and allowing them to experience the inner freedom, both on a physical and mental level so that they can live a happier and healthier life.

During your retreat you will have 3 yoga classes of two types:
Slow Flow:
Nurturing vinyasa flow practice, designed to awaken and lengthen the major muscle groups. Depth and complexity are gradually added to each posture to build an energising and strengthening sequence.
Dynamic Flow:
Fast and dynamic vinyasa flow – series of poses incorporating standing and floor balances. This class will increase cardiovascular activity, generate greater flexibility and build muscular strength and agility.


PILATES

Dmitriy’s pilates classes are fun and challenging. He will help you to build a core strength and body awareness, creating stronger and leaner body.

During your retreat you will have 2 pilates classes and The Anatomy of movement workshop:
Core Strength:
This class is based on core strength exercises, focusing on abdominal area: activation of deep stomach muscles, pelvic floor and challenge of coordination.
Pelvis Stability:
This class is based on exercises focusing on strengthening of pelvis stabilisers and gluteus aria. It will help you to improve your balance and relive back tightness.
The Anatomy of movement workshop:
This workshop will help you to get a thorough understanding of anatomy and the way your body moves, how various critical joints work and the relationship of movements to a sustained pilates and yoga practice.


ACCOMMODATION

Our Yoga and Pilates Retreat is held at the beautiful King Parrot Cottages, near the Pennyroyal Valley and the Otway Ranges. King Parrot is located 8 km from Deans Marsh (about 2 hours drive from Melbourne).

It is an absolute iconic location – nestled against the valley hillside, which offers incredible views of the spectacular and peaceful Pennyroyal Valley and the Otway rainforest. The cottages are self contained and provide luxurious and comfortable accommodation.


FOOD

An organic, plant-based diet is the most nourishing and life giving way to feed our body, mind and heart. Enzymes in living food hold life-giving qualities. When we eat them in their natural state, the energy these cells have absorbed from the sun can be directly transferred into our bodies.


NATURE

This magnificent property is waiting for you to explore it! The two hundred acres embraces both native forest and rolling farm land with alpacas, horses and donkeys and many native birds & animals. The tranquil valley environment is pristine with only the sounds of the local birds or the wind in the forest.
